“ A true Oakland gem. Family run, amazing food and fair prices. My favorites are the fire cracker wonton, egg rolls (handmade in house, so fresh and crispy) and my daughter loves the wonton soup. The bao bun sliders are also awesome. Fresh, soulful food. Great service, comfortable and clean. And they serve Fat Tire Ale! If you haven't tried it you have to. ”
“ I was looking for some good takeout after watching a movie at grand Lake theater, and this was the perfect find! The service was great, and when I walked in on a Saturday night, my food only took 10 minutes to prepare. I walked around the corner to Walden books, so there's plenty to do while you wait for your food if you wanna walk in. The food itself is great! I ordered the wonton dumpling soup, which was filling and tasty also feeling like a lighter soup. I also ordered the scallop and shrimp dumplings, which were delicious! They came warm and ready to eat, but also really easy to reheat as I eat part of the meal later. The person that took my order helped walk me through the menu, and her recommendations are spot on! Will be making this a regular stop ”
“ Qi never disappoints! Even 10 minutes before closing, I still get my dumplings hot and steamy and with a smile. ”
“ Great food. Ordered takeout. I like the sizzling rice soup. Hostess was very nice. Would come again. ”
“ I have zero complaints about the food here. More than solid Chinese and dumplings. I got a salad one day -- mistake, my bad -- and sent it back and they took it off the bill. The wonton soup is superior; I also love the people who have served me there, it seemed family-owned, and like they really care about the customer liking the food and experience. Eggplant, pork Szechuan noodles.... Never had something I didn't like (except that salad, but it wasn't lettuce season anyway$!) ”
“ The wonton soup is so good! Lots of fresh cabbage. Also the firecracker wontons are so yummy. ”
“ Just left this restaurant & though I am beyond full, I am excited to go back already. Service was amazing. Super friendly, made recommendations for next time based off what was ordered this time, brought some of THE BEST apricots from their backyard (I've never had one so juicy with such amazing flavor & the perfect sweetness, I know they're not on the menu but I hope you get to try one!) at the end of our visit. The food... I don't know where to begin. I was shocked at how much came out, I thought portions were going to be smaller. We ordered the Ying Yang & Green Dumplings as well as the Soy Glazed Pork Belly Sliders & the Basil Garlic Potato Bites, & everything was beyond delicious. I would order the potatoes again with a group but be aware the dish is large. The green goddess dip that came with it paired unexpectedly well. I couldn't get enough of the Ying Yang Dumplings & was sad I couldn't finish them at the table. The Green Dumplings with their sauce were very earthy in a sweet way, so good. The sliders... wow. I think they might've been my favorite bite, surprisingly. Walked away with another meal's worth of food. All in all, it was a wonderful experience & I cannot wait to go back & try more, possibly off the entree section next time. ”
“ Daughter recommended this place and no regrets. We ordered Sizzling rice soup with chicken, Pork belly sliders, Big Boss fried rice, lettuce wrap, salt & pepper fish, Cilantro mushroom chicken siu mai and Eggplant and crispy tofu. Sooo yunmy most specially the Pork belly sliders. ”
“ Solid takeout! Good price for the amount of meat and veggie you get which is quite rare actually. Garlic noodles with chicken 3.5/5 - love the fat noodles. Good flavor but not garlicky enough, also more like lo mein flavor than garlic noodle flavor. chicken a touch on the drier side. Topped with cilantro and green onions. Comes with some long string beans mixed in. Mongolian beef 4/5 - really good flavor, good chunks of meat. Solid. Basil garlic fried rice 4/5 - good flavor, really like the finely diced veggies. Egg is well cooked. Beef was good. Rice was a touch on the softer side, when I typically prefer a firmer/drier cook on my fried rice I asked for the noodles and rice to be made spicy which they did, but not spicy enough for me, will ask for extra extra spicy next time :P ”
